What matters to us right now?

We have learnt that most of us are affected by just a handful of themes. Whilst these shouldn’t be our only focus, they give us something to connect over.

  • Many of our workers are cynical and disengaged by safety. How do we meaningfully connect with our best source of ideas, and the sharp end of where work actually happens?

  • Top down leadership styles, expecting H&S to be managed by good reporting, not understanding or appreciating ‘work as done’.... There’s a long list of difficulties with how many leaders engage with health and safety, and these really limit our ability to create change.

  • A very complex space where our traditional tools and practices are in no way sufficient for the scale of challenge, or type of difficulty this presents.
